Welcome to my webpage.  I guess I'll tell you a little about myself.  I grew up in the city of Buffalo and moved to Grand Island when I started the 9th grade and graduated from Grand Island High School (go Vikings!).  I went to Buffalo State College and was on the swim team at Buff State and made many friends during my years there.  I then taught Earth Science in Falconer, NY in 1997 and taught Biology and Earth Science at McKinley High School in Buffalo in 1998.  I have been at Lancaster High School since 1999 and I love teaching Biology and Earth Science.  I spent 3 years as the varcity girls swimming and diving coach for 3 years.  I have two boys (Jacob and Andrew) and live in Clarence.  I am known for my crazy sense of humor and my love of using technology in the classroom.
   My students will have the opportunity to: create their own website, collaborate with their fellow classmate on many online assignments, use ipods and podcasts to review material, create their own podcasts and/or claymation videos, take pictures with digital microscopes, etc.  It will be a great and exciting year!
